Public Record

    Corrections

Every factual error ever made on this site, logged publicly on the day it was fixed. The list is short. That's part of the point — but only for as long as it stays short honestly.

Most review sites don't have this page. The ones that do tend to bury it in a footer and hope nobody checks. The ones that check sometimes find the page exists but is empty in a way that doesn't feel honest — a suspiciously pristine record from a site that's been publishing for years.

This page works differently. If I ever get something wrong — a misstated spec, an incorrect claim about an ingredient, a price I reported that was already outdated when I reported it — it gets fixed in the review itself, and a dated entry lands here documenting exactly what was wrong and what changed. If this page is empty on the day you're reading it, it's because no corrections have been needed yet. If it ever gets long, that's not a scandal — it's the system working.

The commitment: nothing on this site is silently edited. If something factual changes, it shows up here.

If you believe anything on this site is factually incorrect — a wrong specification, a misattributed quote, a claim that isn't supported by the source it cites — I want to know. Email the specific review URL and what you believe is wrong to jeff@jeffsreviews.com. I read every email that isn't from a PR agency. If you're right, the correction is logged here within 72 hours.

    • What counts: factual errors in reviews, misstatements about products or companies, incorrect prices at time of publication, broken or misleading citations
    • What doesn't count: differences of opinion, requests from manufacturers to soften negative coverage, changes to the product made after publication (those are updates, logged in the review itself)
    • What I do with PR emails asking me to "revisit" a negative review: nothing

This site launched recently. Zero entries on day one isn't a badge of honor — it just means the first correction hasn't happened yet. When it does, it will appear here within 72 hours of being fixed.
