Nyko has a great controller to replace, permanently, the SIXAXIS wireless controller that comes with your PlayStation 3 console system. The Nyko Zero Wireless adds not only the same great functions of the SIXAXIS controller but some others that increase the value of this PS3 peripheral.
The Zero Wireless adds not only the Bluetooth wireless features of connection with your PlayStation 3 console but adds the functionality of a great six axis motion sensing that the SIXAXIS controller is famous for. The Zero Wireless adds to this motion sensing the rumble vibration feature for some additional gaming fun.
The Zero Wireless comes with the controller, a USB charging cable, a USB Bluetooth Receiver, a battery compartment cover and a NiMH battery pack. The NiMH battery pack charges through the USB cable from your PS3 console system but the set also comes with a battery cover for use with regular AA batteries.
The SIXAXIS controller has a few flaws starting with the controller in your hands and how small they made the two legs that you use to hold onto it. The Zero Wireless allows for a better handle on your controller for a steadier and better gaming whether you’re playing first person shooters or other games.
The Zero allows for not only a better grip on your gaming controller but the better positioning of the two joysticks make for less strain on your hands. The SIXAXIS controller does not allow for as easy and natural holding of the controller like the Zero Wireless does.
The thumbs are at a much more natural angle while resting on the joysticks and the two pointer fingers are also at a nice relaxed angle and position on the two trigger and firing switches. The Zero’s entire design is very comfortable and make for not only a more natural and comfortable handling of the controller but a more enjoyable gaming experience.
