Pass-through mode (output = input)
This variety of inputs allows several different formats of input devices such as regular computers, DVD players, Blu-ray Players, gaming consoles and cable boxes. You can output the signal in a wide variety of formats so you can match most any input device to your television or monitor.
I found this quite handy when having a couple different DVD and Blu-ray players as well as my PlayStation 3 connected along with a computer to a monitor or television. I connected both a 19 inch HD television and a 19 inch widescreen monitor to several devices and could easily switch from one input source with a different format and easily got a format that my television or monitor could handle.
