VIZO Xena II Notebook Cooler & Propeller II Card Fan
The VIZO Xena II Notebook Cooler is a medium height cooler that props your notebook up a few inches and includes a quiet cooling fan but also has a 360 degree swivel base. The Propeller II cooler is a quiet card fan cooler for use inside a desktop computer that adds extra cooling to your system.

The VIZO Xena II may not be the most advanced notebook cooling stand and does just about what all other cooling stands do, except for one thing. The Xena II incorporates a turntable base for easily turning your computer all the way around for a full 360 degree rotation. This is the first notebook stand I have seen with a turntable in the base and it makes for a nice convenient feature.
While not a revolutionary device it does add a bit of functional help for those notebooks in office or school environments where you are constantly turning the notebook for others to see. For a business notebook stand this is superb to allow the ease of turning the notebook so others have a clear view of the screen without having to worry about angle of viewing.
The VIZO Xena II is a plastic bodied cooler with a prop up center that your notebook rests on. The top of the fold that props up has two rubber rollers that the bottom of your notebook will rest on so the finish is not damaged. The prop has four positions so you have a variety of angles that your notebook can be setting at as well as the full down position. There is also two flip up props for the bottom of your notebook to set against that are also rubber coated for protection.
VIZO says the notebook cooler is for 12.5 to 15 inch notebooks but can also accommodate larger ones like the 17 inch widescreen I also have. The cooler is about 11.5 inches by 12.5 inches and sits about ¾ of an inch tall but the prop goes from flat to its upright position of about 3 inches. The cooler fan is a 70mm by 15 mm fan that runs off your USB power without any on off switch, simply plug the fan into your computer and its running.
While the VIZO Xena II does take up one USB connection it is a very quiet fan and I could not hear it over the laptops I tried it out with. Also due to the large angle the cooler holds your notebook up at there is plenty of room for air movement between the bottom of your notebook and the cooler. The fan adds to this air movement and I saw from a two to a four degree cooling using the cooler without and then with the fan.
The VIZO Xena does a great job of holding your notebook at a good angle with the screen at just below eye level for optimum viewing comfort. The stand has the four slots for the prop to adjust for best height adjustment and with my 6’ 1” height down to my wife’s 5’ 5” height there were no problems with quickly adjusting the stand for several people’s height.
